During
1997 I toured Israel and worked at several kibbutzim. In 2000 I was involved with the making of the fertility dolls used in the opening of the All African Games, working with the French production group Opposito. I also set up the FNB Vita Award exhibition when it was held at the Sandton Civic Gallery in 2000. I took part in the installation of the Urban Futures exhibition in 2000. During 2002 I was employed by Phumani Paper as a database administrator, but also worked on Sundays at the Rosebank Flea market, selling the products made by the rural community projects to assist in the sustainable development programme. In 2003 I worked as a personal assistant to renowned South African artist Willem Boshoff. My duties included helping with the production of his artworks, and later setting up his show in Cape Town at the Michael Stevenson Contemporary Art Gallery.
